Paola Venezia – 65

Mt. Morris, IL, Paola Venezia, age 65, died Friday June 16, 2017 in St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford, IL with her family by her side. Paola was born on August 26, 1951 in Ribera, Sicily the daughter of Nicolo & Rosalia (Bacchi) Cimino. Married Giuseppe Venezia on February 10, 1968 in Leighton Buzzard, England. She has been owner and operator of Cimino Pizza in Mt. Morris serving local families for 42 years. Paola was devoted to her family; spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, shopping, and she loved spending time with the ladies while getting her hair styled. Paola was the kindness, sweetest woman, and loved by many.
Paola is survived by her husband: Giuseppe Venezia, Mt. Morris, IL; Angela (Mimmo) Maniscalco, Forreston, IL, Louie (Rosa) Venezia, Mt. Morris, IL, Nick (Kimberly) Venezia, Mt. Morris, IL, Rosalia Venezia, Mt. Morris, IL; 8 grandchildren: Maggie (Ryan) Johnson, Paul Maniscalco, Isabella Maniscalco, Joe Venezia, Paola Venezia, Francesca, Venezia, Joey Venezia, Lenah Venezia; Sister: Antonina (Frank) Romano; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Paola is preceded in death by her parents; 3 Brothers: Antonino “Tony” Cimino, Vince Cimino, and Frank Cimino.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 20, 2017 at10:30 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Father Naill officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport, IL. Visitation will be held Monday June 19, 2017 in Finch Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
