  14. What a handsome beautiful smile, Mr. McNett had. I am very sorry to read of your loss. With his accomplishments and dedications both, in his professional life and personal one, he was an amazing man! I won’t pretend to know what you’re going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is John 6:40, which says: “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.” I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org – healingwordsforu@gmail.com

  19. Judy and Family,
I just learned yesterday from Rick Davis about Mike’s passing. I’m so sorry to hear about it, because he was truly a great Counselor and friend, and I enjoyed my time working with both of you at the Oregon Public Schools and spending time at the McNett’s Bonfires. May the Good Lord be with you and comfort you in your time of lost.

  20. I just learned of Mike’s passing. I graduated from Oregon H.S. In 1965. I remember Mike being involved in our football coaching. And, later in 1970 and 71, Mike and I car pooled over to NIU working on our Masters degree(s) together. He was a wonderful man and I respected and looked up to him. He will always be in my heart…a mentor I will never forget. Mike, rest in piece.
