Ron was born on May 10, 1947 in Rockford, IL, the son of Robert J. & Marion E. (Gudmundson) Davis. Ron grew up in Mt. Morris and graduated from Mt. Morris High School class of 1965, “MOUNDERS FOREVER”. After high school, Ron enlisted in the US Army and served in Germany from 1966-1968. Ron enjoyed collecting things, antiques, the outdoors and can’t forget the casino. He belonged to the Mt. Morris Moose; he enjoyed mowing the Moose lawn since he had a riding lawn mower to kick back with and less dog poop then the lawn at home. Ron was a Vikings and Dodgers fan and enjoyed watching the games on Sundays with his family.
Ron is survived by his wife: Barbara; son: Terry; daughter: Dawn; grandchildren: Jayden, Alexys, and Shaylee; nieces: Heidi and Julie; and nephew: Jeff.
