Married Donna (Rowe) on March 7, 1959, in Sheboygan, Wis. Worked in the pressroom at Kable Printing, retiring in 1995. Lived in Mount Morris since 1947, moving from Solon Springs, Wis. Member of GCIU Printing and a life member of Mount Morris Moose Lodge No. 1551. He enjoyed gardening and traveling Mount Morris on his scooter. Survived by wife, Donna; sons, Doug Brevig of Polo and Dan Brevig of Phoenix; granddaughters, Ashley Brevig of Dixon, Ariel Brevig of Holbrook, Ariz., and Taylor and Tatum of Phoenix; and sister, Ellen (Bob) Pudas of Altadena, Calif. Predeceased by parents; brothers, Harry and Trix Brevig and Elden Smith; and sister, Esther Knoll. Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, in Finch Funeral Home, with visitation from 10 a.m. to time of service; the Rev. Richard Bright will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mooseheart.

Mount Morris, IL – Ruth E. Park, 88, died Sunday, Sept. 6, in Pinecrest Manor in Mount Morris after a short illness. Born July 11, 1921, in Oregon, daughter of Amos J. and Foltina (Ulferts) Ehmen. Married Richard O. Park on Oct. 2, 1947, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Oregon. She worked in the secretarial and bookkeeping field for more than 45 years, finishing her career as bookkeeper for Bemis Ford-Mercury in Oregon. After her retirement, she worked for several years at the Mount Morris Public Library and had a passion for the work of the Library Foundation. She was an active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mount Morris. Served several terms on the Church Council, member of the Chancel and Altar Society, and Trinity Lutheran Church Women. In her early years she also served as one of the Sunday School teachers. In addition to her ministry at Trinity, she also was active in Rock River Girl Scouts, Northern Illinois Toastmistress Club, American Field Service, American Cancer Society, and the Mount Morris Current Events Club. She liked nothing better than an afternoon or evening of bridge with her friends. Survived by children, Paul (Rosalie) Park of Morton and Claudia (Joel) Park Guenther of Littleton, Colo. Predeceased by parents; husband on Aug. 26, 1986; brother, Henry J. Ehmen; and sisters, Gertrude Wells, and Elizabeth Dailey. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in Trinity Lutheran Church in Mount Morris, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. in the Church Chapel. Pastors Steven Erickson and Frank Lay will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pinecrest Community Foundation, 414 S. Mary was born October 3,1926 in Oregon, lL the daughter of Glenn & Ruth (Williams) Kump, Mary also had a step father Robert Early. She married Leon Smice Sr in Missouri in 1941. He died May 21, 1971. She then married Joseph Lee in Oregon, IL. He died April 16, 1982. Mary was a homemaker. Mary is a lifetime Mt. Morris- oregon area resident. She was a member of the Mt. Morris Women of The Moose.
She is Survived by 5 Sons: Don (Nancy) Smice, Dixon, IL; Leon (Lori) Smice Jr, Mt.
Morris, IL; Robert (Sandy) Smice, Mt. Morris, IL; Leroy (Lyneae) Smice, Oregon, IL; Steven (Cindy) Smice, Mt. Morris, IL. 2 Daughters: Diane (George) Bousum, Lewistown, PA; and Ellen (Dick) Shielder, Mt. Morris, IL. 22 Grandchildren, 48 GreatGrandchildren. and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren, 1 Sister: Alice Aurand, Chana, IL.
She is predeceased by parents, 2 husbands I and 1 Granddaughter.

Todd worked as a lift truck driver in the shipping department at Quebecor Printing Company, retiring in 2006. He lived in Mt. Morris Since 1999 moving from Las Vegas, NV. Todd served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge #1551. Todd was an avid pool player. Todd graduated from Rochelle High School Class of 1972.
Todd is survived by Son: Michael Todd Nall, Tinley Park, IL; Daughter: Stephanie (Karl) Klotz, Tinley Park, IL; Life Partner of 9 years: Mimi Feary, Mt. Morris, IL; 3 Step Grand-children: Jayla and Ryan of Gurnee, IL and Rob Jr. of Florida. 5 Nieces: Jennifer, Sally, Sarah, Sandy, and Annie. 2 Nephews: Josh and Danny. 2 Brothers: Michael R. Along with her husband, she managed and operated Burke’s 66 Service. After her husband’s death, she worked as a returns clerk at Kable News Co. in Mount Morris. Life member of the Women of the Moose, Mount Morris Moose VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. She graduated from Polo High School, Class of 1960. She had lived in Mount Morris since 1965, coming from Polo. Nancy married Jerry W. Wagner on April 3, 1965, in Mount Morris; he died Aug. 8, 2000. Employed as an accountant at Watt Publishing Co. and as a cook in Mount Morris School District 216. Member of Women of the Moose. Survivors include Sherri (Dennis) Drew of Dixon and Kristi (Travis) Russell of Crestview, Fla.; grandchildren, Kristin VandeSand and Kaitlyn Drew, both of Dixon, and Griffin Partner of Crestview, Fla.; brother, Ted (Joann) Boddiger of Polo; and sister, Linda (Dave) Weaver of Freeport. Harold lived in Mount Morris for the last 33 years, coming from Galt. Served in the U.S. Air Force during the 1950s. He married Susan J. Haan on Aug. 8, 1953, in Brackley, Northamptonshire, England. Employed for 29 years as a supervisor of communications for the Illinois State Police, District 16, Pecatonica, retiring in 1991. Attended Disciples United Methodist Church. Harold had many various interests in serving his community, including Cub master of Pack 333, Mount Morris American Legion, snowmobiling, amateur ham radio, sergeant on the Mount Morris police reserve and chairman to the Mount Morris planning commission. Survivors include wife, Sue; daughters, Suzanne (Jack) Thompson of Oregon, Mary (Robert) Burke Jr. of Janesville, Wis., and Michelle Bolhous of Dixon; sons, Mark Wright of Duluth, Minn., Steven (Gina) Wright of Breese and David Wright of Mount Morris; 11 grandchildren; and brother, Gene (Carol) Wright of Savanna. Mount Morris, IL – Reynale I. Angelbeck, 101, of Mount Morris died Monday, April 20, 2009, in Ogle County Hospice Serenity House in Oregon. Born Oct. 6, 1907, in Sheboygan, Wis., daughter of George Eisold and Louise (Horn) Eisold. Graduate of Sheboygan High School, Class of 1924, and attended University of Wisconsin for two years. Married Frank H. Angelbeck on Sept. 9, 1933, in Sheboygan; he died Feb. 15, 1994. Came to the community in 1956, from St. Louis Park, Minn. She was a columnist and book reviewer for the Mount Morris Times newspaper for 27 years. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. During World War II, Reynale was a secretary for the joint chiefs of staff at the Pentagon. Worked for Hubert H. Humphrey’s campaign from the time he was mayor of Minneapolis to the campaign for vice-president of U.S. in 1968. She was chairwoman of the Ogle County Democratic party, founder of the Democratic women of Ogle County and former director of Trinity Lutheran Church children choir. Survived by son, Robert P. (Joy) Angelbeck of Mount Morris; step granddaughters, Holly (Dan) Thatcher of Apple Valley, Minn., Pepper (Michael) Lancaster of Rohnbert Park, Calif.; step great-grandson, Caleb Thatcher of Apple Valley; and step great-granddaughter, Emma Thatcher of Apple Valley. Born Feb. 1, 1984, in Rockford, the son of Gordon and Marcia (Griffin) Vaughn. A lifelong member of the community, Andy worked as a roll tender in the offset press room at Quebecor Printing for five years. Member of the Graphic Arts International Union. He graduated from Oregon High School, Class of 2002. Andy was a very caring and outgoing person with a big heart. He loved listening to the Beatles, was an avid skateboarder, snowboarder and NASCAR fan. Survivors include grandmothers, Francis Vaughn of Oregon and Merlene Griffin of Mount Morris; sister, Reanna (Chuck) Brant of Crandall, Ga.; a very special niece, Megan Brant of Crandall; and many special aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandfathers, Venus Vaughn and Donald Griffin. Service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in Finch Funeral Home, 405 E.
