Born Feb. 18, 1956, in Chicago, the daughter of Paul Richard Broughton and Grace (Ede) Broughton. Graduate of Fenton High School in Bensenville, Class of 1974. Married Robert Price on Oct. 6, 1979, in Wood Dale. She was employed by the Target Distribution Center in DeKalb as a packer. Veteran of the the U.S. Army. Survived by husband, Robert: daughter, Jennifer E. Price of Dixon; granddaughter, McKenzy Grace Price of Dixon; mother, Grace E. Berner of Rochelle; sister, Debra Anne (Michael) Winters of Sycamore; brothers, Paul Richard (Sheila) Broughton of Oregon and Peter Joseph (Danni) Broughton of Rochelle. Predeceased by father, Paul R. Broughton; stepfather, Norbert Berner; and sister, Janice Anne Crum. Service at 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, in Faith Center, 4701 S. Main St., Rockford, with the Rev. Jonathan Byrd officiating. Burial in Daysville Cemetery in Oregon. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March, 15, in Finch Funeral Home in Mount Morris. Memorials to be established.
