Mount Morris, IL - Nancy Carol Wagner, 66, of Mount Morris died Friday, May 29, 2009, in St. Francis Hospital, Peoria. Born Aug. 20, 1942, in Dixon, the daughter of Edward and Hazle (Trump) Boddiger. She graduated from Polo High School, Class of 1960. She had lived in Mount Morris since 1965, coming from Polo. Nancy married Jerry W. Wagner on April 3, 1965, in Mount Morris; he died Aug. 8, 2000. Employed as an accountant at Watt Publishing Co. and as a cook in Mount Morris School District 216. Member of Women of the Moose. Survivors include Sherri (Dennis) Drew of Dixon and Kristi (Travis) Russell of Crestview, Fla.; grandchildren, Kristin VandeSand and Kaitlyn Drew, both of Dixon, and Griffin Partner of Crestview, Fla.; brother, Ted (Joann) Boddiger of Polo; and sister, Linda (Dave) Weaver of Freeport. Predeceased by parents. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, in Finch Funeral Home, with visitation from noon to service time. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials to Granny Rose Animal Shelter, Dixon, or St. Jude's.

We are so sorry to hear about Nancy. We just found out as we were in Florida. I sure was a shock to us. We are friends of her from the Moose Lodge in Mt. Morris. Vi Adams sent me an e-mail to tell me. Nancy was so thoughtful for others. If someone needed help she was there to help. I almost always sat near her playing "Thunder" and we always were talking and she would tell what was going on with her family, so I felt I knew all of you. We will sure miss her and are very sad. God bless all of you.
