Mary H. Lee Smice, age 82, died August 1, 2009 in her home in Mt. Morris) IL. Mary was born October 3,1926 in Oregon, lL the daughter of Glenn & Ruth (Williams) Kump, Mary also had a step father Robert Early. She married Leon Smice Sr in Missouri in 1941. He died May 21, 1971. She then married Joseph Lee in Oregon, IL. He died April 16, 1982. Mary was a homemaker. Mary is a lifetime Mt. Morris- oregon area resident. She was a member of the Mt. Morris Women of The Moose.
She is Survived by 5 Sons: Don (Nancy) Smice, Dixon, IL; Leon (Lori) Smice Jr, Mt.
Morris, IL; Robert (Sandy) Smice, Mt. Morris, IL; Leroy (Lyneae) Smice, Oregon, IL; Steven (Cindy) Smice, Mt. Morris, IL. 2 Daughters: Diane (George) Bousum, Lewistown, PA; and Ellen (Dick) Shielder, Mt. Morris, IL. 22 Grandchildren, 48 GreatGrandchildren. and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren, 1 Sister: Alice Aurand, Chana, IL.
She is predeceased by parents, 2 husbands I and 1 Granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday August 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Bright officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery, Oregon, IL. Visitation will be Monday August 3, 2009 from 6 to 8 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home.
