Cheryl Lee Campbell was born 8/23/43 and lived her entire life in Leaf River. She met Jim Campbell, the love of her life, at 23, married and together they raised 3 children. Cheryl was a very active member of their community. She also served as the town librarian for several years as well as taking a large part in the church nursery. Cheryl, along with her close friends, loved to laugh. She truly loved people and was generous with her time and resources. Whether she was hitting the garage sales or getting ready for bible study, Cheryl carried her sharp wit with her wherever she went and kept it with her until her last breath. On Saturday, March 16th, Cheryl Lee Campbell passed peacefully with her husband and family by her side on to the presence of her Savior.
Cheryl is survived by her husband: James Campbell; 3 children: James (Kim) Campbell, Jean Harmston, and Jonathan (Jessica); 8 grandchildren: Zach, Allie, Bailey, Erin, Emilia, Gretchen, Liesl, and Wilson; brother: Robert (Suzanne) Fry; 2 sisters: Judy (Junior) Hunziker, and Beverly Snyder.
An Open House Luncheon to celebrate Cheryl's life will be on April 20 from 12:30 to 3:00 PM at Leaf River Baptist Church.
Memorial has been set up in Cheryl's name at the Leaf River Baptist Church for donations to go to the missionaries the church currently supports.
